>This translation fixes small translation errors in the English patch for the game “SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters 2 Expand Edition” by The CFC2 Translation Team.
Should I feel sorry for the folks that rely on these "translations"?

They don't get in the way of your understanding, some of them are just a little nonsensical. You can still understand it within the context. I think there was a wrong value here and there too.

The old translation wasn't unplayable, it's just card effects were squished down and confusing.

>so many spanish translations

Does this mean that South Americans are on the rise on retro games as well? Imagine if they'd import stuff as well from the US, the market would become even more ridiculous than it was before.

If they're rich enough to do so and don't simply keep it at emulation that is.

Sorry to tell you that, but we already do import a lot, and now that YouTubers are raising the retro nostalgia back again even casual people that haven't been playing or even owning a single console for years are now buying NES and SNES and spend tons of money on carts feeding the greedy retro sellers who had stores in the 90's and kept their collections in a basement.
