So, does /vr/ like soccer?

ahh, Fighting Eleven. I used to do some ridiculous shit in that game. Also there is a cheat code for changing the referee into a dog.

The small things.

It's the Konami code, and there's also one for unlocking the All Star teams.

Also, no dog ref in ISS 64, but it gives the players giant heads. I miss this kind of silly shit in soccer games nowadays.

I don't like soccer at all but ISSDX still is fun as all hell to play. Unsurpassed to this day.

ISS and ISSDX had a huge hacking scene in Latin America, back in the day. We had tons of variations of those games, the most famous being Ronaldinho Soccer '98 and Campeonato Brasileiro '96. They even inserted a custom spanish narration in the game.

Not really /vr/ but Mario Strikers are damn fun in this way. Sometimes regular divregass is simply too boing.

Speaking of which, Captain Tsubasa games came close to being kind of turn-based and I really wanted more games to have this kind of game mechanic.

On topic, the ISS games are great, specially ISS2000, the european version. Loved the whole Scenario mode, plus that RPG mode.

Fifa 98 is a favorite of mine. The indoor game mode was rad as fuck, but my all time favorite is probably captain tsubasa 2. Anyone knows of other games with similar RPG-sport gameplay?

if anyone here knows about the 4cc we are in dire need of a new manager before the Autumn Cup

>> No.3462442

no idea what the game was but i have very fond memories of going over to my friend's house to just dick around on the field and slide tackle anything that moves. it was on snes. he owned earthbound and said it sucked so i never saw it get played

Defensive moves that work on keepers and refs are a rarity now.
At least the unpredictable physics engines in current gen footie, make tackling lots of fun.

Search for FECIC, it's quite limited but useful for your needs.

I liked Soccer Shootout a lot. Later found out it is a capcom game.
It even has indoor soccer without fouls and you can bodycheck motherfuckers.

Only thing that sucked, I found out an easy way to shoot goals after a while, when being free in the box. Took the fun out of it.

The training-challenge was also fun.
