which systems and why RF? Does the tv play well with 240p or do you need line doubling as well?

Rf for atari. Probably need doubling but not certain, would rather be prepared for everything. And I would like a set up not dependent on the tv.

Atari 2600RGB.
Or at least do a composite mod!

The one stop solution would be an analog tuner with HDMI out.
Multi "stop" options would be to do an RGB or component mod for the 2600 and use an HDMI converter or a composite mod and use a composite to HDMI converter.

Does anyone have an S-video switch they recommend?

Something like an analog scaler like a DVDO iScan from their HD+ models on would work with everything but RF.

I have a JOYTECH - AV Control Center 245C and the early revision that looked like a 360. Both switch, composite, component, s-video, ethernet, and best of all, optical.

The only issue I had was a fuzzyness/interference woth component but my cables were cheap.
