Which home release of Double Dragon is worth playing more: the Nintendo game or the Master game?

>> No.3428809

>> No.3428815

Sms if you want some coop action
Nes if your by your self and want more enjoyable experience... or if you have a friend that wants to play a pre sf2 fighting game

>> No.3429340

NES version is GOAT. Some of the GOATest music on the entire NES.

>> No.3429359

The NES version is probably more fun but like a lot of NES coin-op conversions, it's not a true port - it goes off on a tangent and does it's own thing.

The Master System version is more faithful.

If you want a game with co-op, master system.

If you want a flawed, one person, but actually fun version of the game, NES.

Because it actually makes more sense to have a two-way attacking system over simply have two front attack buttons. I never understood why casuals had issues with Double Dragon II's combat system.
