After watching the GCCX Tokimeki Memorial episode, who doesn't want to play a dating sim?

Where do I start?

Sweet, been waiting for a new eceleb general to pop up.

Whats people's thoughts on Joe and Mac for snes?

James and Mike were confused as to who gets the kiss, I think I figured out that it was the person that got the most hits on the boss, represented by the x's under the players health.

Also, video ended unexpectedly, at a continue screen, but I suspect that the game only has limited continues.

There's also Pia Carrot, Afterschool Romance Club and May Club but that's pretty much as far as English translated dating sims go. Maybe Bloody Bride.
In Japanese you should probably start with the later Tokimemo ports.

there is a recent episode (unsubbed) where he does some muscle game at an arcade, wins, and poses for the camera, wish i could find a gif/pic of it.

Where do new ADs come from?
I used to think they were picked up for new seasons and that they'd be new to the program. But in many segments they speak of past events as if they were there (even though in their introduction moment, Arino acts as if it's the first time they meet).

For example, when they did the quiz corner asking Arino about stuff about the show, past episodes, etc, Emoto talks about the first season as if he was there, despite being an AD for less than half a season.

Are they just part of the staff, and they "pretend" to be new employees when they become ADs?

>> No.3390291

>>3390248
They're not necessarily new to the company and they're sometimes promoted to "appearing on-screen ADs". Arino greets them on camera to present them to the audience.

Who's the best AD?

I'm really torn between Toujima, Emoto and Cardigan

Toujima, no question. Anytime he comes back he and Arino have a chemistry more like equal partners than boss/employee. He's like the Nightwing to Arino's Batman.

My favorite is Toujima.

>That episode where Toujima and Arino are in the import games shop laughing at western games

Wish I could remember which one it was specifically but holy fuck it was funny as shit. Toujima just always comes off as a bro and somehow a colleague at the same time.

I'm about to get back into watching GCCX. I know people get tired of answering what are the best episodes and that I should watch it chronologically which I'm going to. But, I'd like to ask what episodes are the worst if there are any? Princess Tomato seems really notorious.

I liked all of them to be frank they all had a different style of humor that they have brought to the table. But if I had to I would pick Toujima, Inoue and Watanabe. I don't know why but the way Arino interacts with Inoue and Wantanabe is very funny to me.

metroid is kinda bad, I mean the novelty is nice the first time, but the episode has no replay value.

it suffers from horrible editing, there is some bit of exploration, then boss fight, boss fight, mother brain. it just skips into the 3 main boss fights with basically little to nothing in between

a few other episodes suffer from the condition of only having time for boss fights, for instance, Zelda Link to the Past has this problem, and honestly could have benefited from being a 2 parter

His shyness means that, most of the time, jokes made by Arino or others fall flat, because he shows no reaction to them. He's also generally awkward to be around.

The only interactions I did enjoy were the ones with Abe. When they went shopping for seafood it was so funny, Abe talking about prices with the clerks, then turning to Nakayama and going "Oi, pay up"

Why are the ninja gaiden episodes cursed?

I was really looking forward to the first one, but when I opened it I found out it was copyrighted by Shitaku, so it has the horrible english narration.

Then I kept watching episodes chronologically, and I was pleasantly surprised when the "1980" segment said "Arino will be playing Ninja Gaiden 2 next"
So I finish the episode, I go to the next one...and apparently, the highest resolution available for it is 144p, even in the megatorrent.

I just wanted to enjoy ninja gaiden properly.
The game is so hard that it makes even watching someone play it an ordeal.

Either buy the Retro Game Master DVD or look for a torrent of it. All the Ninja Gaiden episodes are on it and you can set the narration to Japanese.
