I'm not saying the Amiga game's soundtrack was like synthpop, only the intro theme does. The rest of the tracks are bastardized, off-tempo renditions of the original ones.

Show me a X68K track that sounds like synthpop.

It sounds more similar to the Amiga intro theme, but I don't think any other Castlevania track comes close.

The only other Castlevania track that felt out of place was I am the wind on the original SOTN, which was R&B

As for the baroque equivalents, don't tell me you don't hear the obvious Bach influences on tracks like Bloody Tears.
Also, I didn't just say baroque, I said classical, and also horror movie soundtracks (which in a lot of cases also borrow from classical/baroque/romantic era music)

Holy shit, I forgot this existed. I don't think I even saw game footage before.

Graphics-wise, it's more decent than Amigavania, Kinda looks like Rondo of Blood, I mean the backgrounds and tile sets. But the character and enemies sprite are horrible, and the gameplay looks abysmal.

I like how the zombies and skeletons kind of dance to the shitty beat in the music though, hehe.
