This console is too new to be here. It seems to have gotten in because it died early and everyone has a certain respect for it, but it should go. 480i resolution, online play, most games came out after 2000. Dreamcast will be the foot-in-the-door that eventually allows Xbox, and ps2 in.

480p is ED (Enhanced Definition). It's sort of a weird limbo between Standard Definition and High Definition that 6th Gen consoles and the Wii used.

The only reason Dreamcast isn't banned is because it was released before the year 2000, despite being a 6th Gen console like the GameCube, PS2 and XBox.

The line of what is considered retro on this board is completely arbitrary anyway. Drawing it between the fifth gen and the sixth gen makes little sense. Either it should be drawn after the fourth or after the sixth.

The PS1 and N64 had more in common with gen 6 than the SNES, but the line is drawn as it is to appeal to the nostalgia and false superiority of people born in the early nineties.
