I'm looking for some advice for expanding my Gameboy collection, I've noticed that Ebay is plagued with fake GBA and DS games, is it just as bad for original Gameboy and Gameboy Colour games? Some of the games I want are Pokemon games which seem to be among the most counterfeited. Should I be overly concerned about fake first and second gen Pokemon games? I've noticed a couple of obvious ones with "GAME" written in the cartridge recess, some even on grey carts, but are there better ones floating around or do pirates focus more on the GBA Market?

Another thing I've been lookign for is the die-cut numbers on the carts, but I've noticed a couple of my own games don't seem to have them, luckily all of the games I have with no die cut numbers are games I purchased new from major retailers back in the day, and opening them up doesn't reveal anything suspicious. So I've no doubt thee games are legitimate. So how reliable are these numbers for detecting fakes? Is is fairly common to see legitimate carts without them? Anyone ever got a fake with them?

Also, anyone recommend any good sites for buying GBA games, I'm pretty much ready to give up on Ebay and, given the lack of pictures, I assume Amazon is just as bad or worse.

No. I mean, yes, but no. Technology opens up new opportunities and jobs that we wouldn't have even thought of before. Was anyone thinking about programming AI or web design in 1900? No. Because technology didn't advance yet. What about people who bred and sold horses before cars were around? Probably killed a lot of those jobs too and look how many it created in return. Think of how many jobs and how much of our lives interacts with computers now. Basically all of it, even if you don't own a computing device yourself. They don't store bank information on a notepad. When you buy food at the store, they don't get out a pen and scratch out inventory or do manual addition and multiplication. When you go out and hunt, you use a weapon that was designed and created, most likely, either by a computer or with help from a computer. Did these things kill your jobs?

Look, the only way your communist fantasy has any real shot at working is if we DO let capitalism run its course to the point almost no one has to do shit anymore, if we ever do reach that point where expansion via human input plateaus. If you do it too early, then things just stop progressing, we don't have our shit, and everything collapses because we can't afford to be lazy on a societal level. You can't just print everyone money because then it has no value and you can't have everything be free or the lights won't stay on and no one will want to milk the cows.
