I'd love to get my hands on several CD-ROMs with various desktop themes and misc computer stuff that were so popular during the 90s.

For example the Evangelion collector discs. I could only find 1 torrent for one of them, but it was only the images (good quality .bmp files), but not for the other stuff. I know some of them included kiss dolls.
In fact, I still have a CD-ROM that came with an old spanish magazine called Dokan and it included a ton of stuff taken from the Eva collector discs, it might have included some kiss dolls but I can't check right now as I don't have a working cd player for the PC.

There were a ton of other CD-ROMs for virtually any popular series, but I believe they're pricey to acquire now and the only way to find them is probably have luck in japanese auction sites.

Just did an import order of old Windows 3.1/95 cg art and anime/game omake-type discs. Most go for less than 500JPY but you'r biggest problem is going to be shipping. If most games were just jewelcases, it wouldn't be so bad, but a lot actually came in bigbox type things of varying sizes (even things like screensavers or desktop accessories) so unless you can guarantee the disc is loose, you risk trying to pack a bunch of huge boxes together, which adds up in overseas shipping relatively quickly. Having said that, I wonder if it would be more economical to try to ship them a couple at a time while risking box destruction.

Let's just say....I used to have a lot of the stuff in this thread and a TON of Kiss dolls....that I had to delete because my 6 year old brother started to play with them one day and my parents saw you could take the clothes off (but there is a locking feature that you had to click a certain amount of times to remove underwear). Yeah...I mostly used it for fapping and modding the pictures and taking screenshots. Not all of them were intended for h uses but I had a few Japanese ones that were...interactive hentai.

then it must indeed be a Win 3.x (16-bit) application. The 64-bit Windows versions have full 32-bit support, but the 16-bit subsystem has been removed. Hits some Win9x games surprisingly hard, because, while the games are true 32-bit applications, their installers often aren't. So you could play, but not install.

I now own quite a few japanese 90s japanese omake disc things and yeah, a lot of them tout being both 3.x and win 9x compatible. Also, many were hybrid discs with applications that also ran on contemporary macs.
