Hey /vr/

I have a small collection of retro games.

I can't seem to bring myself to play any of them. I always end up back on 4chan or Youtube and the nights over with and I never played anything.

When I do manage to play some, I spend maybe 15 minutes. An hour maximum. And then I can't seem to pick it back up again.

What's wrong with me and how do I just play a game?

Sounds like you just need to find a game you truly enjoy playing. That or take a break and play something totally different. If I get into a funk then I'll usually play a bunch of Madden. I genuinely enjoy it, but it's a lot different from my usual gaming fare so it sort of resets me I guess.

You never play them. Sell them, watch your youtube, and if you wanna play games, emulate or sick with modern stuff. Retro doesn't sound like it holds your interest at all. Find something you care about and stop hoarding.

I don't have a hoard. It's like 30 games, some on N64, Super Nintendo, PS1 and Genesis.

And it's not just retro.

Then keep them. I don't care. I'm not one of those guys who are going to get mad at you for keeping games. Do what you want.

I can't make you play them. If you don't wanna play them, nothing I can say will change that. I suggested selling them so that you have money for something you care more about. If you are not in need of any money, then keep them and just keep watching youtube.
