Some ideas I have to get the ball rolling:
Creating dropbox/mega for the entries
Creating video channel were best plays/winners will be posted
Creating monthly e-zine ASCII style to keep track of winners share strats,and random bullshit
Creating IRC channel to hang out

this was an idea that came from the RTA thread, i guess it's pretty similar to the game gauntlet challenge. i dont really get how the rankings are supposed to work though. if i were going to speedrun an arcade game i would most likely 1cc it in the process.

You will be surprised by how death is useful in speedruning arcade games.Sometimes is just to die and spawn at some point or get extra weapon fast ect.
1cc is not equal to fast times.

But yes some kid is having a blast thinking he is smart as shit for spaming the pool.
