You think you've got it bad? 1 or 2 years ago, I wouldn't had to buy a special controller, AND set up a windows 98 box just to properly play Need for Speed High Stakes again.

And NFS hot pursuit 2. And maybe wipeout 2097 or something. But not Motocross Madness, or Moto Racer, those would just feel abnormal. Or NFS2SE, that requires a 3dfx card for properness.

the only reason i bought SFV is for this meme stick. i paid 330USD which was the game, stick and day 1 shipping. i feel its much easier to play SF with a stick compared to a DS4 but i still suck. i main chun-li. i got her to level 20 1000LP from her alone. i'm getting bodied from higher ups and think about changing my main too many times. i wonder how the hell brolylegs plays her. i watch his replays a lot but i just cant do it how he does. i hate how she is a charge character. i try SPK and fireball but instead she does a jump kick and a regular punch

Didn't require you to use just that. I managed to get other game pads working just fine on their pc games. On PC Engine games however the standard pad was only 2 buttons. You literally had no choice.

It was weird, though the 2 extra buttons were awfully supported in general, in fact, I had to use one of the drivers from this shoddy thing, but hey, that worked without a hitch and I had a 6 button pad.

Meh, I guess I wish I had an 8 buttoner that registered 4 of them as a hat switch.
