>> No.3189052

every single one of them. it's awesome from start to finish.

but fuck that circular boss. it fucks me up every time.

The stage where you talk about it to piss of manpanties shmupfan69 and we all get to read the same exact posts again. Oddly similar to looping one of these pointless as fuck games.

3 and 5.
4 is my least favourite, fuck that level.
I dislike 1 because I just want to get it done and move on to the rest of the game every time.
2 is a mixed bag, depends if I'm having a good day or not. It is just on the limit of how well I can play; on a bad day that level will fuck me over, on a good one I can S++ it with little effort.

Last boss on hard mode is an orgasm in videogame form.

That's all that matters. The rules here are retarded.

Ikaruga on DC was ported from arcade six months later. Since it's originally an arcade game which don't follow the console loophole, it isn't retro.

Not true. According to the rules, all that matters is that it was released on a retro console. When doesn't matter, and what the source material doesn't matter.

Someone could port Flappy Bird to PC Engine and it would suddenly be acceptable to post about it here. The rules as they're laid out are stupid.

The NAOMI arcade system is even older than the Dreamcast.

I always did like the atmosphere of the first stage. Bursting out of the sword at the start is fucking cool.

Though that actually looks neat. Going to check out.

I wonder when the mods will update the rules to only be about game release date instead of hardware release date.
