best youtube channel for game stuff is classic game room, imo. not super insightful or anything but watching it is fun and he got me into shmups. also like kid shoryuken's pickup videos and stuff, usually gets some interesting stuff.

I dont whine about "speech idioms", but the scripting and the way he talks, as well as the way his reiews are edited (long gameplay clips after every few sentences) which make a review to last much, much longer than it should've been. It takes him way too long to actually say something useful - I dont like wasting my time like that.

My favorite part of Game Sack is the hardware episodes. I love those stop motion teardowns and for some reason the stupid MEGA-POWER running gag gets me every time. Sometimes their choice in games to demonstrate is questionable and they don't always have anything interesting to say but it's light hearted and great to listen to in the background.

Looks are Gamster81s least problem, he has zero charisma and his videos are beyond boring. His "system reviews" consist of little more than pointing a camera at the system and badly reading wikipedia in his monotone voice for 5 minutes.
