I own a sealed copy of wario land vb. Great game.

Wario Land 2 had great bosses and diverse levels though

I think Warioland is clearly the best Wario game. Too bad it's on the Virtual Boy and I can't play mine for more than 10 minutes without my back hurting.

Heads up! Watch out!
Best Wario coming th-
hehehehe
Best Wario com-
HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Seriously though 1 or 2 was best.
3 felt like a step backwards.
4 was a bit too basic same with VB.

You can play VBWL in greyscale and with 3D disabled in mednafen.

I grew up with and love the first one, and while it does it's own thing, I have to say that WL2 is a much more fun game, it's so damn ambitious and well made for a Gameboy Color game, it's got more depth and content than many Gameboy Advance games, it just clicked for me as a perfect handheld adventure.

For whatever reason, I didn't like WL3.

>>3155778
Of course he's ignorant about it, few people had a VB.

>>3155861
Try emulating (and using a USB controller, because playing platformers with a keyboard is subpar).

Let me guess, you didn't like having the abilities locked out from the start.

Different anon, but it felt like it was jerking me around.
I probably didn't give it enough of a chance, but Wario can't do shit, he feels so gimped and useless in 3, I got to the desert, got stuck, and got bored with it, it didn't immediately catch me like 2 did.

Give it another try. There's a NG+ mode that lets you start out with all your abilities unlocked after you beat the game once.

It was a great game but still not as good as Wario Land 2

Honestly this series is much better than Mario and has better creativity. Most of these games are good

lay on your back and rest the VB on your face. use the stand to balance it.

I've been doing this all week and it works great.

>It was a great game
Not arguing otherwise, hell, the VB has good games, I'd say at least half the library is above average, the issue being the unit itself, not the games.

Many have said this, but I'll say it again, I'd buy a collection bundle of games converted from the VB to the 3DS

3 was too focused on exploration.
2 was the perfect balance of exploration and linearity. With 3, it almost felt like they were artificially padding the game out with 4 treasures per level and huge sprawling levels.

And that's why the series is dead.

While I think each one of the Wario games is a different experience, I kind of liked Wario Land 3 best. I played all of the classic ones (1,2,3) around the time they all came out, except for the first one which was a hand me down from my big brother.

tfw I got a GameBoy Color as a present along with Wario Land 2. 1999 was the shit.

Wario Land 3 was a present as well, from my brother, and that mysterious figure used to scare the shit out of me with that ominous music. I had to fight my fears and enjoy that game though.

I really enjoy Wario World a lot but good god is it trippy as hell even for Nintendo standards

Well, Treasure is known for making some weird as fuck videogames.

Anyone know anything about Wario Land 4 battery?

So I know that GBA games do not use save batteries. I know that the Pokemon games use a battery for the internal clock

Why does Wario Land 4 have a save battery? What is the point?
