Definitely Persona 1. Being able to see Nanjo in all his #1 glory would be amazing. After the death of his butler, I was speechless. I'd never been as moved by an art form as I was in that very moment. And that's what Kei Nanjo is, man - he's part of an art form. In fact, I'd argue that he himself IS the true source of much of Persona 1's artistic qualities. Without Nanjo-kun, I wouldn't be the same man I am today. Thank you, Kei Nanjo - thank you so much...

Are you refering to the first game? I feel mother 1 could've made a good ghibli movie, 2 and especially 3 are to big to be a movie. Itoi wrote the tag lines for the Japanese releses of some ghibli movies and played the father in the Japanese version of my neighbor totoro.

There's SO MUCH potential in the Mother series it's almost criminal that it hasn't been capitalized on yet.
I'd much rather see it made into a film series rather than seeing some two bit animation company buying up the rights only to half ass it and release it just to get more views/ratings (ex. A-1 and Ace Attorney).

The atmosphere and setting are ruined once you non longer have a reason to fear anyone. Daddys are a big fluffy joke since death has no consequence and the rest of the enemies are just shrieky wimps.

Really, it went from horror to "Thor vs the autistic society". Everyone's babbling and shrieking and setting at you, but you're Thor and you just walkaline around smashing ghdm; occasionally throwing a bolt of lightning if you're bored, but it's really not necessary.
