Some of the LD games were released on Steam recently and there seems to be a partial translation in Romhacking.net's database. Now, I'm hyped!

I've loved Artdink's tidy aesthetics since I first played A-Train as a kid. And it's a shame more of their games weren't brought overseas judging by the /jpc/ threads.

Nobuteru Yuki indeed made the promotional illustrations for Xak III. I don't think he was involved in the other Xak games though. He also did the cover art for the original Brandish (the vanilla edition).

I suspect it's Kazumi Kakizaki (かきざき和美) of Liza and Paradise Lady fame. At least her signature is on the DD3AC and DD1GB artwork and the style of the DD2 artwork is too similar to her other works to be coincidental.

Big fan of Threads of Fate/Dewprism. While downloading the soundtrack I found out that they printed some of the production art in the booklet for the CD release. Makes you wonder how much incredible game art is locked away in filing cabinets somewhere.
