Dungeon and Dragon is freaking boring and vanilla with shitty character design. only the fighter looks cool the others look like hank hill and a midget

Dungeon Dragon 2 is the buggiest arcade game ever made. more 1 hit kills on bosses than any other game ever made in the history of the galaxy. fucking ogre shadows aren't even implemented properly. most unpolished and unfinished and hastily put together piece of horse manure ever made.

D&D1 is essentially an evolution of King of Dragons, and if you dislike King of Dragons then you are just a retard.

Somehow /vr/ can turn a thread about obscure oldschool beat 'em ups into a shitfest, and find a way to take a dump on Battle Circuit and the arcade D&D games.

Some recent ones I've really enjoyed are Guardian Heroes (very RPGamey like the D&D Capcom games) and Cadillacs & Dinosaurs.

Also Gaia Crusaders is one I've almost never heard anyone else talk about, but it's bretty gud.

Streets of Rage 3 is king, never played one I liked that much before or since.

Golden Axe was just fun, but easy.
There was one I remember liking (I still have the cart, apparently) called Brawl Brothers.

Actually, now that I think about it, I still have all of these games! Now I want to fire one up but it's really late.

Also better with friends, but have none of those to play with.
