Despite the bad camera handling due to being made for an arcade stick, the gameplay is amazing.

I've never seen anybody talk about Frame Gride, which makes me kinda sad.

It's a good twist on the Armored Core forumla and has an English fan translation.

Combat is more melee focused. The Squires are helper robots that really change up combat. Instead of money, you basically craft new parts from dropped crystals, with better drops from getting the opponent's Squire first.

The game even had online multiplayer back in the day.
