I know this is a silly question but I just can't get my head around it, I think most of us have been there, how do I finish this sandbox game? Well, it's Digimon World, I have all this maxed stuff set up but I want to know, how do I finish this game? The guides says to recruit dejimons and beat the bosses, the speedrun kept training the dejimon which I already have alright, but damn, help me out /vr/... isn't there a faster or more direct way of doing this? I have a feeling there is a way /vr/.

The digimon in the game that you can recruit are worth 1-3 points each towards the prosperity rate of the city. Jijimon keeps track of the score if you want to check it. The final dungeon unlocks once this total reaches 45, I think. It goes up to 100 if you recruit every possible digimon, which is the point at which I'd personally consider the game to be complete.

So basically get out there and explore. Recruiting some digimon will unlock the events to recruit others. Some of them unlock after beating the final boss, so the end isn't quite the end. You could use a guide if you're really stuck, but doing that at this early stage would completely waste the experience.

There's a waterfall blocking the way to the dungeon at the top right. If your prosperity rate is high enough just talk to Jijimon and the waterfall will subside.
