I may have fucked my Playstation up.

>Open it up to calibrate.
>Start the game.
>Audio is jumpy.
>Open it up again.
>Being an idiot enough to left the disc on.
>Shakes the whole thing.
>Moving the screw.
>It won't budge.
>Try harder.
>It pops.
>The brown band where the screw is attached slides a little.
>Boot console.
>Sounds weird.
>Doesn't start games/Please insert a PS cd-rom.

Any help?

Really? I remember back in PS1 times a guy snapped his brown band and the guy of the store told him there's no return for that.

How do i search it? I'm a fucktard in this matter. Is harder since I'm on the third world

you know your ps2 plays ps1 discs right? If you have a ps2 I fail to see the issue. Just replace or fix it when you have the time if it means that much to you, but there's really no point considering the ps1 loads games so much slower than the ps2.

Why exactly is it so expensive? I get it's sealed in the box but there are used ones for a little over a hundred. What makes this one special?

So it's one of the first off the line I guess then right? Didn't they all break? Collector fags are out of control.

They were built with a super-secret handed down from god software emulation for the PS1 that made everything run faster and look better than either the PS1 itself or the PS2, with an almost perfect compatibility rate.

Henceforth, it was never included in any of the later, more affordable models when they stopped giving a shit about backwards compatibility.

Basically, if you got one of those first gen PS3 models, you would almost never need a PS1 or PS2 for anything, it was better than those in all aspects.

You need to discover the 35$ raspberry pi. If you've got some old flash drives, an sd card, a monitor, a keyboard, and a mouse. Then you've got a computer friend. Linux is the way to go if you're not trolling me and are actually in the third world.

Yeah i heard about it, but I'm from the "buy the machine" team, I'm not fond of assembling the computer, i prefer notebooks.

Just saving a little and that's it, but right now is not a priority.

If having a functional computer isn't you're priority then that's probably why your country is third world. People like you.

>> No.2718087

>>2718081
There's no assembly for a pi. You get one of the free flash cards previously flashed with an os through a charitable organization. Plug it in. Plug in a usb drive. Bam... computer.
