Can someone tell me if this is fake? The game fucking weighs like .00001 pounds, it doesn't feel like any other Sega game I've ever held in my life. On the back it says Acclaim Entertainment Made in Mexico and there was a black sticker covering it with glue on it...

Label Also looks like it was printed out on a printer. Please help.

If the pictures are too shitty idk what to do, I only have access to my garbage camera on my phone.

definitely, the little mermaid was published by sega, not acclaim

>> No.2712925

It's a Majesco released copy of Ariel the Little Mermaid.

What the fuck, is it the actual game?

I don't get this.

>> No.2712934

best of luck getting the game to work since theres alot of missing pins on the connector. my copy of tiny toon adventures has alot of pins missing and its a bitch to get it working.

Yeah it barely fucking works, 50% of the time it starts and the lag is insanity, I looked at gameplay footage on youtube and this is not what the game is supposed to be like.

Majesco releases were very late in the lifespan of the genesis, they were made as cheaply as possible and coincide with the release of the genesis 3. it should work fine just clean the edge connector.

This, don't listen to the other guys. Late releases around 1996-1997 were all printed inside Acclaim shells for some reason and the black stickers were slapped on there during production. My Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, and re-release of Battletoads & Double Dragon, both were bought new around that time, have it.

its not missing anything retard it was only made with that many pins

Its legit. In the end of the genesis/snes lifespans, Majesco rereleased some games with a cheaper cartridge and black&white manuals. These rerelases were a lot cheaper to buy. Consider them a 2nd print if they were collecting cards.

>> No.2713158

Should Majesco re-released games be cheaper to buy than the usual Made in Japan games? I've been debating this alot but I feel I should not pay the absurd amounts of money on a Majesco Contra 3 or Super Castlevania IV because they come with black and white manuals and cheaper eeprom chips inside.

Get a SNES Everdrive China Ver. for around $55 and you're good to go. For all of the special chip games (approxiametly 5-10 good games), just hunt down the ones you want to play.

yes, they should be cheaper, but don't expect most sellers to know the difference.
