How is Shenmue? Does it still hold up?

I see. Thank you.

Of course it holds up. Probably more than any other /vr/ game period someone who didn't know any better could pick it up and believe it was a Stream produced indie game from 2015. Is this a good thing? Ehhhhhh.. I still like Shenmue though, a lot.

The attention to detail is IMO never surpassed.

It's a bit weird at first. The control scheme is unusual, re-adapting to it takes a bit of time (same as back then tbh). Use R to walk/run, ↗→↘/↖←↙ for directions, and you'll have a much easier time.

I bought in complete in box for 50€. I didn't played it when it was first released so no nostalgia goggles. And you know what ? It's worth every fucking cent. Graphics are awesome, controls are good once you're used to them, and there's simply no word for the pleasure of chilling in a small 80's japanese town. Also fucking this:>>2697858. And the arcade.

Does the North American Dreamcast release of the game have the option for Japanese audio with English subtitles?

i've played this through tons of times and i always find something new i missed every time.
