Pretty obscure title because it was released in europe at the tail end of the PS1's lifespan. I've yet to see anyone else who has played it.

>> No.2662274

I have it, didn't realize it wasn't released in the US. It's a pretty good game but gets difficult later.

What's up with you yuros getting all these weird little late cycle games on Playstation?

Now that my Playstation game has stepped up to clean, pure RGB I've been thinking about picking up some of these English PAL exclusives. Can we try to list them?

That's what good games are supposed to do.

Anyone played this? Also late PAL release.

it was kind of that way for the SNES as well, I think it's that in the US for some reason in the 90s the video game industry culture got this idea that once a new system comes out the old one MUST be abandoned, no matter what.

I got that game around when it was released. Surprisingly good game, the draw distance was really impressive by PS1 standards.

This is the first time I've seen it mentioned on the internet, so it seems to be very obscure.

Not OP but Terracon was pretty big in the EU.
The game was in fact pretty impressive for a PS game and the gameplay isn't half bad, lots of fun if you like shooters.

Many retro games were entirely overlooked and we could show them some love, even if it is a little bit late, but I guess it's more fun to talk about the same games everyone played over and over again.

Cannot agree more, started replaying it recently and the view distance and skyboxes are fucking phenomenal. I also absolutely love the shockwave effect on the ground from certain weapons/attacks.

The god tier soundtrack by Jeremy Soule, the same dude who did a lot of Elder Scrolls music, helps a lot.

the devs got bought out and now they make mobile games outsourced by some German company, fuck this industry

Beautiful third-person shooter from Konami, that is a bit dated when it comes to controls.
