if it was the late 80s/early 90s my mom probably could've done it. she beat zillion (sms) before which is closer to metroid but i think she could memorize and beat it. idk about within 24 hours though.

Mother has glaucoma, so she won't be able to try at all. Father did beat Fantasia on Megadrive back in the 90s, hasn't played since, but could still show some skills.

I'm dead. My mom doesn't get video games that aren't 80's arcade games and my dad and I had a falling out so he wouldn't even try.

My dad could definitely beat it.

I'm assuming my mom could, too. 24 hours, I'd imagine almost anyone without an actual mental problem could beat it.

I have the feeling that my dad would have the coordination, but lack the focus, while my mom would have the opposite case.

I bite my tongue off and let myself bleed to death instead of waiting a full fucking day to get capped in the head. With my luck, the shot would probably just leave me severely brain damaged instead of killing me. I'd spend the rest of my days pathetically struggling to play the vidja gaems that I would no longer have the motor or mental skills to enjoy.
