My brother and I still played it a heck of a lot, despite it being ludicrously slow. Only redeeming factor to this game are the individual super shots for every -man. The "ending" you get for beating Capcom Championship is being returned to the title screen. That's it.

You can tell Capcom didn't care about this game right from the title screen: they didn't even bother to reformat it for the overseas release.

There's a sweet spot at the bottom of the penalty area where if you shoot diagonally upwards you score every time. Most of my games I win by 30-40 goals.

I liked soccer a lot growing up, and Mega Man was my favorite character. I'd write fan fiction that the original Mega Man became X, watched the cartoon growing up, the whole nine yards.

Mega Man Soccer still holds a soft spot in my heart. Some kids just enjoyed the game.
