I have a bunch of them including Dig Dug (the sequel is better), Guevara (i know it came to the west but all references to Guevara and Castro where removed), Adventure Island 4 (definitely one of the best games i ever played) and Ganbare Dunk Heroes along with a ton of Kuni-kun games (wouldn't be surprised if i have all of them).
I have a Famicom in my collection but the deal is that i play the Famicom games on a knock off console like pick related, the cables and controller are way more comfy.

This is all. Star Force was my first one to test the Famicom converter I found in a Wrecking Crew, and Rockman 5 I got recently just so I could play it and not have to spend $100+ for Mega Man 5.

I cut up the cartridge casing with the converter so you can plug the cart right in. Sure you can plug in the board itself but I don't think there's a way to open up Famicom carts without breaking them (which happened to Star Force and I wasn't gonna do with Rockman 5)

Rockman World is dirt cheap compared to US games.

A lot of Game Boy stuff is text-dependant, but there's also a lot of good cheap platformers (well, besides trip world), puzzlers, and such that are dirt cheap and fun as hell. All the kunio-kun games, for example. Kirby imports are dirt cheap as well, although Hoshi no Kaabi always seems to be the brownest cartridge ever. The Mario/Wario land games also run pretty inexpensive.

It's a lot like famicom importing, honestly. Grab lots, blind-buy stuff, and see what you turn up. It's pretty damn cheap most of the time, so.

Game Boy is fun to collect for. Import GB games seem like they'd be like Famicom, where everything is cheaper, especially boxed.

His shelves are real nice. I've only got about 80 or so games at the moment, so for now I've got a couple old laptop boxes cut up for storage.

The real problem is weird carts, since I collect HuC3 and Rumble carts. Rumble especially are fucking lumpy and stupid and I have no idea what to do with them.

Longboxes made for TCGs (like Magic) also fit carts pretty well, but there's a bit much extra space on the sides imo.

now, let me clarify, ryoplanshop is a good seller and usually has really good prices, he along with lil.tupac (akiba-games) actually sells games for half their current price, i bought Ginga Daisakussen for 9 USD and Kid Dracula for 13, so he has good prices, but sadly his Splatterhouse is still overpriced than the latest bids i show you from hit-japan, japanyouwant and yamatoku classic, now i now that he did cut the price to half which is good on his part, but he doesn't know that the price of this asshole >>2570936 it's just fucking bloated!, and all thanks to dennisjapan!.

I was friends with this guy in high school, nice guy, but had trouble with self-identity. Was always trying to be someone he wasn't. Goes to Japan as an exchange student, once again try to "find himself". I ask him if he can get me a Famicom and Rockman 2, and I'd pay him for it.

Year later, he comes back and has 2 Famicoms, 1 for me and 1 to sell, and a box full of games. He gives me my Famicom, Rockman 3 (because he forgot which one I asked for), an advantage controller. I pay him, and he says that I can borrow the box of games because he's not going to sell them right away. Nice gesture.

Later, when school starts, I've gone to college and he has to repeat grade 12, because he's missed credits. I don't see him often, but I invite him over once we're both free. I tell him that he should take the games, because I don't know when I'll see him next. Says not to worry about it.

Next time see him, he's got a totally new identity. He's turned into a super weird drugged out kid, thinks he's a psychonaut. Tell him that next time I see him, I'll bring the games.

Texts me a few days later, and says he needs the games. He's trying to sell them and calls me a thief, says I shouldn't have them this long. I'm weirded out, but it's no problem, tell him I'll drop them off Friday. He goes to my house on Thursday when I'm in school, mom answers the door. Says "You're son is a fucking thief, I'm here to take my games". Mom has no idea what's going on, she goes in the house to get them but he goes past her, takes the games, Rockman 3, and the controller.

I come home and I'm fucking pissed, but glad that I don't have to ever deal with him again. 3 years later, he messages me on FB, apologizing for ruining our friendship. Says that he was in a weird place, taking too many drugs, and he doesn't remember what happened but is sure it's his fault.

So, should I let it be? Or ask for Rockman and the controller?

Newfag.

Although, you should take the rockman and controller, yes. He will eventually crawl back to the drugs and end up selling those 2 to supply his need.

Nah, purposely didn't greentext. He claims he's off the drugs but that's a good point, he probably will sell them if he hasn't already. The only reason why I think might have them still is because he posted a picture of the games that he lent me for sale on a local game buy and sell page.

Speaking from experience, all friends of mine that drifted to drugs have tried to rehabilitate but got straight back to it, and one of them even had their kids taken away by child services because there was meth detected in one of their kids at birth. Anyone that delves that deep into drugs is no longer a friend of mine, and I'd rather not waste my time being there for them and I'd rather grab all their rare possessions if they offer it before they sell it for drugs.

Addictions have limits, but drugs are just too strong for someone to recover from evidently.

Yeah I'd ask for rockman and the controller since you did pay for it.

Ask for Rockman and the controller, then ask for all of his Famicom shit. It's in junkie hands, anon. Get it out of there.

Hey, it's the guy who mutilated Star Force here, I got some more games today. I'm a sucker for space shooters and Famicom seems to have a shitton that never made it to the US.
