What are some retro games that you and your bros used to sit up all night playing?

Pic related. Bushido Blade was the shit back in the day. We also played the shit out of Smash Bros. and Gauntlet Legends.

The N64 was a pretty good platform for party games since it had four-player support, but we did alternate turns with PS1 games from time and time.

No one wants to play Bushido Blade with me because you can't button mash in that.

Had an all-nighter party with Soul Caliber 2 for the gamecube, years and years ago. I think we got the fight-count to somewhere in the 70's before I finally passed out around 4 in the morning.

My brother and I used to love playing Bushido Blade 2. We'd sit in the Iaijutsu stance (the one where your sword is sheathed) and wait.

If you attacked and the other person wasn't quick enough to parry, it was an insta-kill. If they timed the parry right, the riposte was an insta-kill.

Man, we got really deep into the styles and form of that game.

I'd kill to spend an hour playing Bushido Blade with a friend now. Back then we'd play all night, all weekend. Good times.

my only gripe with bushido blade is the very little content in it.

so few arenas , so few moves , combos and lets not even talk about how short the single player is.

if only this game had the level of content your average fighting game comes with it'd be perfect.
but oh well a very-very good game anyway.

I'm still pissed that I can't emulate Gauntlet Legends. It's so good and none of the other Gauntlet games are like it.

Search your heart, you know it to be true.
Even if she didnt have that seed in her head before, all women's single girlfriends have this thing where they MUST get their friends to cheat so they end up single too.

The PS1 version of Gauntlet Legends emulates fine in pSX(fin), and I assume ePSXe would be compatible as well. Of course, it's a rather watered down port compared to the N64 version.

Oh, you have no idea. My friend and I would go hours and hours playing BB. Great times.

One thing pissed be off though. I once made it all the way through that narathon battle, killed all 90 drones and the 10 bosses and the reward didnt unlock. I was UPSET!

Nodachi was whats up. Its all about the spacing timing though.

Also I cheated, threw sand in their eyes, daggers, ect.
