Discussion on everyone's favorite but unfortunately short-lived final hardware effort from SEEE-GAAAAA.

Release google spreadsheet link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14fCQ3NXIlW1ZC_gjIejpQVPG34fLWmSoXYgSTyxdRWM/edit

>Friendly reminder to spoiler tag mentions of other consoles, even if you're referencing the fact that a DC release was also released on PS2,XBox, or GameCube

>Friendly reminder also that the magnet link to the DCRes project's 100+ releases is added as a comment to the DCRes header in the spreadsheet.

Let's begin, shall we?

What are your personal favorite releases for the DreamMachine?

Dreamcast was objectively shit and the embodiment of everything wrong with SEGA.

There was some discussion about taking the audio from the DC version of Rez and getting it into FLAC format in the thread that was deleted. Not sure if the person requesting it saw my response or not..

I THINK the music in Rez is ADX, but I did that rip a long time ago so I'm not positive. In this case, you'd need to get the program ADX2WAV and then you can just convert it to WAV and compress it to FLAC.

The person requesting is the guy that started the thread and also me, I'll try that tool and let you know the results.

Again, thanks for the assistance!

Not exactly. After Saturn, Sega really couldn't have recovered. Aside from using DVDs as its media and making the thing into a DVD player as well, like Sony did, there really wasn't anything more they could have done to save themselves.

Oh man, is it safe now to talk about the second-rate waverace?

There's literally only one release out there for that. Hopefully it's not crappy.

Lol, I'd assume that it's A-OK.

Any word on what group it's from? Echelon I don't think is necessarily bad, but their releases do have intros.

I wonder what the Shenmue price is on Australia now given the circumstances.
