Guy from the last topic with the bowls, omg i love you i have been doing those bowls ever since I figured them out. They are so beautiful.

I have a couple new coasters; if anyone has any critiques please help me. This wooden one I had to simplify a couple sections for it to complete the circuit - you can tell from the awkward straightaways. What are some things y'all do to try to eliminate just boring straight track segments?

I'm also a big fan of Drop Coasters but I prefer to build them with a few big elements instead of spaghetti monsters. It's to bad that Oblivion style Dive Coaster were the only ones built when RCT2 were made so that Chris did not add all the fun elements of the more modern creations. For some reason they feature ordinary loops but I want to build a big nice Immelmann!

Went to Carowinds today, my first non-Ohio park. Was pleasantly surprised, rides on par with Kings Island almost and strangely short lines. Fury was awesome, easily rivals Millenium Force. Afterburn was fun but I was spoiled on Banshee last year. Intimidator felt way more fun than Diamondback. Then again I swear I'm the only person who liked Son of Beast and didn't rave about Diamondback. Snapped a pic of Fury in line, that thing was seriously awesome and only a 10-15 minutes wait.

The guests in my park are retarded. On the swans ride they would deliberately steer the other way if they were right in front of the exit. On the canoes ride they would all make a left turn and get stuck in the corner forever. I got complaints about the long waiting times for the rides and "I want to get off Swans 1/Canoes 1". The tracks solved the problems. If they would just go to the exit on their own I would let them have their freedums, but they couldn't handle it.

Well, -.9 excitement being "high" gives us yet another glimpse into the inner workings of RCT.
The simplest method of deriving a label from a number within a range is just a series of if-then-else statements. Given that negatives weren't part of the original possibility set, it's easy to see how they wouldn't be accounted for. I'd expect the algorithm goes through the brackets other than the "high" bracket, and if it's not a value that falls into one of the other brackets, then it logically must fall into the "high" bracket. But adding the possibility of negative numbers means that either the "low" bracket needs to be shifted, or a new bracket needs to be added. And that didn't happen, so -0.9 falls outside all the other brackets and therefore falls into "high" by default.

I made a scenario for the /vr/ pack. This is my second one, after Crestline Peaks. I like scenarios that tell a story and are a little trickier than normal, just a heads up.

Crescent Island is a small seaside park on a sandbar that juts out into the ocean. Because of the somewhat cramped conditions, you make plans to buy the titular nearby Crescent Island to expand the park. The rich locals (average guest starting money is maxed out,) however, got wind of this and asked the local government to jack up the cost of the land, restrict your ability to get rides to the island, and restrict your rights to advertise in the area. Might be tough to expand fast and far enough to hit 2000 guests by year four, but I think quite doable.

pay attention to the height of each track piece as you place your hills. As a general rule, every crest of your hill should be roughly 10 to 15 feet lower than the one before it. There's a difference between "Wow, that ride was intense" and "holy shit my eyes are bleeding."
It's a very important distinction to make, anon.

The problem with this is that the human body doesn't tolerate negative G's very well. You can handle G forces on pretty much any axis except negative vertical forces.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G-force#Human_tolerance_of_g-force

Basically, you risk bleeding in the eyes and brain on something like that, which results in pleasantries such as blindness and death.
