Ah, yeah, I know what you're talking about. Everything is slightly see through, and depending on the FMV you can see down the top of characters' heads. I just assumed it was dated programming.

I wanted to, but my DC is long gone and my laptop can't handle DC emulation.
I still have my crappy XBOX somewhere, but only Shenmue 2 got ported.

I've never played Shenmue, cuz I didn't have a Dreamcast, but with announcement I've downloaded the first one to play on emulator. The game lags when blur effects appear on Demul.

Played Shenmue back in the day on the Dreamcast when it was still alive then got an Xbox primarily for Sega's games (JSRF, Orta, OutRun 2, and Shenmue II).

I bought the first one right after the announcement for $27. I wonder if the guy is going to ship it to me though. I didn't get shenmue 2 on xbox which was only about $10. Now of course its $50-80. I'll just emulate that or watch the movie that comes with shenmue 3.

I could never get it to work back in the day using the guides of that era. so I gave up and never played 2. I still have my saves on my HDD.
