Question for y'all
I like to play this game at night in bed on my JXD before going to sleep, problem with playing on an emulator though is every time I start it gives me the same video at the beginning. If I load my save state then I don't get a video at all and it just takes me straight to the main menu. Is there any emulators or methods out there to get it working like an official PS1 where I can just load my file from a virtual emulated memory card of sorts? Because I also have a modchipped PS1 and I know when I play this on that I get a cool different video at the beginning of the game every time... if this makes any sense to anyone and they can help me then thanks.

no, but based on my past experiences with LSD (the chemical) I'd really be willing to say it'd get boring quick.

LSD has mild stimulant effects, so one tends to like to do/see active things while they're on it. LSD (the game) is pretty chill, and doesn't really have over the top psychedelic visuals.

Staring at a tiled wallpaper of pic related would probably be more fun on LSD than playing the game LSD.

Now then, the folks over at 420's /del/ board say LSD (the game) is fun while on deliriants (if deliriants can be fun, that is) because of how simple it's gameplay is, and how little thinking you have to do to actually interact with the game (deliriants absolutely fuck your short term memory to the point that you can't even remember what you were thinking 5 seconds ago).

I would also hazard the game would be fun on shrooms, given that they're said to be a less stimulating drug than LSD, but I have no firsthand experience in this, so I couldn't really say.

Current Psychonaut here. Have you ever even played a game on psychedellics? It becomes even more of an interactive experience. Playing LSD on acid would probably be fun but maybe not the best game to play on the drug. Nevertheless, it would probably be a good time unless it's a scary game to you. My personal favorite game to play on Acid is probably Gradius 3 for SNES because you feel like the pilot of your ship but I'm sure LSD you'd feel like you're exploring a whole other world. It's also A VERY INDIVIDUALIZED DRUG so it could be different for different people.
