If the Retron 5 is 'authentic hardware' then Jenna Jamesons breasts are natural.

It's a clone system that is probably the best one. That being said, everything it does, a modded Wii or an Ouya can do.

I don't think it's bad in and of itself so much as I believe you got better cheaper options that let you play an entire library of games instead of relying on carts.

Everything major from pre atari to n64/ps1 in a credit card sized board. I went with the black ice case from amazon but there are tons of cheaper ones. These little boards can do most anything.

I built my emulation station on pi2 for like 80 bucks total including new controllers, microsd card, etc. I have the entire catalog of retro games minus 1 or 2 that they are bug fixing.

I would say from my own experience these things are garbage. I may have just had bad luck with mine but the slot the cartridge fits into was really tight for all the cartridge slots and when pulling out an NES game some of the pins came out so I haven't touched mine since.

As much as I know these are troll threads, I would love to see one of these 'multi' consoles full of those flashcarts, its kind of pricy but it would have you set for life when it came to gaming.

The retron5 is a great piece of hardware for the price. It's pretty accurate to the consoles. Also, an rpi is a complete piece of shit for emulation.
If you're going to emulate roms, you may as well spend money on a cheap laptop and a couple of m$ or sony pads.
