Love this Game. Wish there was more. Why don't we talk about it?

>> No.2367063

kinda funny how the first few games were more true to the book

Because it's a licensed game that isn't good or crappy enough to warrant being remembered.

The one Harry Potter game I DON'T have any versions of! I grew up with The Chamber of Secrets and I still play it to this day! Chamber of Secrets is just a masterpiece of a Harry Potter game, especially the PC version (PS2 was far more Zelda-esque, but very enjoyable). If you want Sorcerer's Stone only 10x better (from what I've heard of Sorcerer's Stone), then find a copy of PC Chamber of Secrets! (PC Azkaban was alright as well...)

I loved the Gameboy color RPGs. They were buggy messes, but they really, really rewarded exploration. Hogwarts is something that should have secrets out the ass.

Pretty much every HP game before Order of the Phoenix was good. Especially the first two games and Quidditch WC on the PC, Chamber of Secrets for GBC, and Azkaban on GBA.

I remember the PC version of Sorcerer's Stone had an insanely good soundtrack. I thought it was better than John Williams' movie score.

I remember being so fucking scared of the suits of armour when I was a kid. Played that shit, and the second one, to death though.

Speedruns of them are pretty cool.

I liked how the story and dialogue changes fit the book well. It makes complete sense for Snape to force Harry to collect ingredients to treat Neville's injury, for instance.

PC version was dope. and unlike the pc game of the 1st or 3rd game you could move and cast spells at the same time

why was goblet of fire so bad ;_;

>> No.2370478

I loved the GBC JRPG's. They were so much fun and I still go back and play them every few years.

I still remember spamming mucus ad nauseum at Voldemort

Or the ingredients in the garden that respawn the moment they're off-screen, making them extremely easy to farm for them Wiggenweld and Pepperidge potions.

Also what the hell do the vitamix and herbicide potions do?

>> No.2372058

>>2371929

Not sure about the potions, but another way of taking out Voldy easily is using the magic immunity and Flipendo boosting card combos, because he's weak to the latter.

What does Dire Strength do? There's no way I'm using a combo that Malfoy gave me.

It still amazes me really how every single one of these is a completely different game, ignoring the UMD Movie.
