Got a Dreamcast for Christmas with this, Jet Grind Radio and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 back in 2000 I think. It was so great, I love all the games so much to this day.

Was 2 the first to have a level creator? I had fun with that back in the day on whatever game first had it. I know it was a Pro Skater, because I thought the series dropped in quality after Pro Skater 4.

not /vr/ but they managed to ressurect the ps2 versions with openspy and there's a thug 1 - 2 crossover you can play online

The PC version is basically a higher resolution version of the PS1 version. Worse textures and lower poly models than the DC version. It's a lazy port.

I don't think Treyarch actually improved the models from the Dreamcast version in THPS2X. It still wins for having 60FPS and a new level, though.

It has 5 new levels, all of the levels from THPS1 and 2, more advanced lighting effects, and a slightly expanded character creator (i.e. you can make chicks as well as dudes). It also has better textures from what I remember.

Idk why but I lost interest in these games after 2. 3 was good I guess, but I only rented it and never had the urge to buy it.

His tricks were amazing. It was worth it to watch his videos at the end of every game. I remember me and my friend watching the videos over and over (Especially in 3) and trying to copy what he does. I also remember doing the tricks he did in the 2 video in the game and we thought we were so cool haha. (Like doing the kickflip to manual to kickflick to manual across a picnic table on the school level)

The way his videos ramped up between 2-4 was brilliant. The room exploded when me and my friends booted up THPS4 for the first time and saw that Primo slide in his intro segment.

3 was the best from a gameplay perspective. 4 started the downward trend and manual tricks turned the game into a button masher.
