any one played this game?

>> No.2280760

It's untranslated.

>> No.2280761

No, nobody in the entire world has ever played it

>> No.2280768

I did, when I was a kid, without understand a single word.
Still managed to finish it thanks to the help of a friend, but to this day I still barely understand anything.

So, what's the point of the tread? Do you know any secrets about the game OP? Because the walkthroughs on the internet are barely complete, I never meet Manto, or the dominatrix wife.

Interesting fact:
The Tengai Makyou series (Far East of Eden) used to be incredibly popular in Japan back in the day. People loved the shit out of Fourth Apocalypse.

Kabuki Klash had characters from Tengai Makyou: Ziria and Tengai Makyou II: Manjimaru which are both on the PC Engine CD and one boss from the flopped PC-FX game. IIRC Kabuki Klash was released before Zero.

The only reason Tengai Makyou Zero gets talked about more often is because it's on SNES which is a much more popular system in the west and better documented for fan translations.

Tengai Makyou II is actually one of the most popular games of all time in Japan, and reached #12 on Famitsu's top 100 poll. Despite this, there have never been any attempts to translate it.

Greatest game translators in history. And soon, the anime fansubbing scene will look pretty similar to the game translation scene.

No kidding. If the show's not on Crunchy for people to rip and edit the subs from, shows usually just don't get subbed at all.

The last 2 years and 6 month's of no progress?
who know's? maybe Byuu doesn't care to finish the hacking part of the game, is to busy to continue, or lack of interest.

Some project's are like that, the two i remember nearly 100% and then disapearing from the face of the internet;
are ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat and samurai showdown rpg, there where alot of pics of the games near completition, something happend
and the author's didn't want to publish their work.

This is kidna awkward but I finished every Tengai Makyou game except this one and Namida.

>ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat
Didn't the main hacker for this become assblasted because somebody leaked the project early or something?

>> No.2281234

For some dumb reason I own two sealed copies of this game.

Yup that's it, a while back a guy called Aaron Chmielowiec offered to finish that game, and work on soma bringer.
For some reason; He decided that helpout a digimon game was a better idea and scrap everything, after he translated all the digimon game, the hackers didn't progress shit and start making excuses, so he left gba temp, a shame really since that guy worked damn fast. Finish up blood of bahamut and game center cx two in a breeze.

About the leak, actually what happend is that the main translator, have the work in a pen drive-usb, that he lost in a school trip and dropped everything, the other guy didn't want the work published so a 3rd guy released the incomplete beta as a rom file thats why you don't see that shit in romhacking, another game i remember that way is berserk for ps2 and burgango's monster hunter 2.

To this day the hackers pablitox and blackice, are still making excuses to continue the hacking part, Aaron translated the whole game in 3 weeks, after yugix begged for help in the blood of bahamut thread.

I read that it was because they guy posted his dick in the neo geo forums after some random guy uploaded the kof 13 rom in there, the guy got banned and stoped worked in the project.
Another guy called tux the wise promise to finish the game, but ended up releasing warez dreamcast rip images.
