I would, but I can't find it anywhere. I attempted ripping them straight out of the PS1 version though. That just corrupted my entire game instead. Also that would mean having to install the game twice.

Well googling "re2 pc download" gave me isozone as my first result. I'd imagine you could rip the RDT files from the install discs without even installing, but I can't guarantee that.

Installing and uninstalling shit isn't that hard.

If you have to install to get the RDTs, then install the English version only first, copy the files out to somewhere else, and use Revo Uninstaller's Advanced uninstall option to make sure it uninstalls and doesn't leave anything behind. Then install the BH2 Sourcenext version and follow the instructions from that post (and the hex edit to fix the save screen).

If you're feeling really nice you could even compress and upload the whole install folder somewhere for folks. I've heard whispers of something called vrshares, but I don't know how that works or even how to access it.

Well, what is it?

After doing a bit of testing, it SEEMS to me BH2 on Arrange mode is exactly the same as RE2 in Original mode; and that RE2 on Arrange Mode is the same BH2 in Original mode.

Difficulty-wise, I mean. Which means that if you play BH2 Sourcenext edition, in Arrange, with the english translation patch; it's exactly the same as playing Western RE2 except in higher quality.

Just saying beacuse I thought that maybe BH2, even on Arrange mode, would be easier than RE2 because BHs tend to be easier than REs; but it seems that they did their job well and that in the PC versions, you can experience both the western and Jap way of playing RE, like they both really are.

More torough testing would be needed to claim that as a fact though.

Well, Biohazard 2 certainly seems more forgiving than RE2 as far as ranking is concerned. 4 saves and I get an S rank, this would have never happened in RE2 would it?

This is all in the Sourcenext version. I'm pretty sure you'd only unlock everything after beating a B scenario but apparently not in Sourcenext; but that's a good thing.

Also, after getting S rank in Claire A, I got the infinite rocket launcher for Leon B! Now that's really ridiculous and I don't remember that happening in other versions either.
I wonder if it only happens in Sourcenext, OR if it only happens in Jap versions (= in all Jap versions...)

I never noticed that before. I believe this only happens in this room of Leon B which is an optional room.

Just wtf?! I've checked the entire room and nothing is there.
The last time I saw something similar happen was in the RE3. In the press office, upstairs, from a certain camera angle near the entrance of the office after the corridor, you can see two tiny asses red herbs, but only when there actually is 2 red herbs in the backalley downstairs (the one you can ONLY access if you decide to jump out of the window if Nemesis comes to you when you're with Carlos in the office).

Any idea for this one? Maybe it's actually located in the room below, the one that's locked atm (iirc i need a small key)

Yep, I picked up the shotgun ammo downstairs and now it diseappeared from upstairs. Same glitched as the red herbs in the press office in RE3.

Too bad I won't be able to grab them, since they actually are in the back alley downstairs only accessible if you meet Carlos here and decide to jump through the window when Nemesis gets there (and i've met Carlos in the restaurant instead). The thing those herbs appear either here or at the gas station iirc
