MegaMan 6 - Wily Stage

I don't know if they intentionally made it so sad sounding or what, but it hits me right in the feels.
Mr.X stage theme is also pretty sad sounding.

MegaMan 5 - wily stage theme is kinda sad sounding, too.

Mega Man 3 - Wily stage 3-4 sounds kinda sad and depressing. And then there's 5-6, which sounds like something dark and foreboding out of a Castlevania game.

Can't leave out Mega Man 1's first Wily stage theme. It's kinda sad, too.

The death requiem in Dragon Quest 4 is just about the saddest vidya song I can think of, although this one is intentionally so. When you hear this play in that mining town where everyone is dying all around you, just... goddamn.

Megaman 6's Wily tunes definitely have a sense of finality to them. I guess at the time, the composers thought 6 was going to be the last Megaman (classic) game, since that's the one where Wily is finally arrested, and the very next game was Megaman X.
