This will get old faster than you think. I can't hardly stand this game anymore. Even starting out on the fastest settings is boring, and the arrange modes do not add enough variety.

The games to which I most frequently return are early online games with typical skinner-box conditioning to rewards in the form of levels and items. Diablo 1 & 2 (I prefer classic over xpac in both), and Phantasy Star Online (I prefer Plus on GC, so not exactly retro even though I spend most of my time in Episode 1).

If I have to choose only one, it would end up being none, in all honesty.

It wasn't too bad if you don't compare it to the original. I know most people find that to be a silly concept, but I really did enjoy it. I haven't 100%ed either game yet, but I plan on doing it someday. And before anybody chastises me for not 100%ing YI, my game erased itself during the last bonus level. Still pissed.

On-topic:
As much as I love DKC3, I'd probably pick Banjo-Tooie. Good single player, and the multiplayer was pretty fun too, good sized game as well with lots to explore and do.
