Well, people have been getting nostalgic for that startup sound for a while now, so it's a smart move on Sony's part.

However, the model itself just looks like a silver PS4, I wouldn't relate it to the PS1 if I didn't know it was meant to do that.

I'd rather them release good games like they did back then instead. A new Jumping Flash would be cool.... but yeah, won't happen, sigh.

Eh, kinda neat. I'd like to get it, but no clue where us USAers can preorder... Or if I really want to spend several hundred on a PS4 since it will probably be down to 3/4 or half price by the time it has enough games that I want.

The entire 8th gen line up is dull overall. I have a WII U and I bought that solely for WW but Mario Kart is fun too.

Well if you like mediocre fps, rpg, and fighting games I guess you couldn't ask for more.

Though 8th gen has brought me a lot of laughs this year with just about every AAA title being released as a bug filled mess. Except for Nintendo anyway.

It's a toss up between the PS1 and Dreamcast for me. The PS1 sounds a little more scary and ominous which I love because of the scary games on it, and the Dreamcast sounds more sophisticated and clean which suits a system that was well-designed and ahead of its time.

Sony stopped calling it PSX and started the retarded PS1 when they realised their brand worked better as PS# and they needed to fill the hole.
It's not Playstation One. Period.
