Let's have a point and click adventure game thread. I would just like to start off by mentioning star trek 25th anniversary edition. Possibly one of the best point and click games ever made and I have not seen anybody else really mention it on this board. If you are a fan of star trek or just point and click games in general you have to try this game. Get the CD version if you can it has all the original voice actors. Interplay really came through with this game it is one of the best uses of a licensed property in a video game I can think of.

What are your favorite point and click games? What are some hidden gems you think we should try out?

I recently tried quest for glory vga for the first time and beat it this morning actually. I was a spellcasting thief. I really regret not trying those games out a lot sooner though, I know people like to bash sierra but they really need to try the QfG games before they open their traps. They probably haven't played a kings quest game either and only say whatever they heard from some youtube whore because those games are comfy as hell too actually despite the flaws.

Talking about other Star Trek games, I loved this one back in the 90's. It also features the original cast of TNG.

The Longest Journey is a likely favorite if I'm not going for obvious ones like Monkey Island.

Also, Curse of Enchantia is a real hidden gem. The puzzles are really intricate and absolutely logical, with not even a hint of things like "arbitrary flags" or "nonsense solutions". Buy it today.

What these two said. You'll probably also like Loom, though bare in mind that you'll have to remember the musical notes on the highest difficulty, as it won't show you the keys to press. Or something like that. But you do get a bonus scene near the end of the game...or you could just play the CD version, which let's you see said scene no matter the difficulty. Has voice acting and good music too.

Quest game where you can solve puzzles by THINKING.
Surprising, isn't it.

Also Broken Sword 1/2 and Fable (if you're not afraid of dying)
