I'll start. I love Earthbound, but I absolutely hate the Gold Mine dungeon.

Final Fantasy 6: Kefka's Tower (I fucking hate split parties in virtually every RPG I've ever played...Sweet Home being the one exception)

Resident Evil: You know that place where you have to push those boxes into the water to make a bridge? I hate that part because it takes forever to get that one box down the hall. It's not hard, but I groan every time I get to that part.

Not him, but I found just about every vehicle stage in Crash 3 to be a drag. They're the reason why I prefer Crash 1 and 2, along with less original level design (visuals) and slightly lazier music than Crash 2 (all bonus stage tracks and all skull route tracks are the same with different instruments).

>Walk to the bottom and then to a top of a tower shaped prison where every room looks the same.

>Oh look, your school just flew a few meters and is now drifting in a sea. Time to have boring dialogue while waiting to end up somewhere.

I know there is lots of "story telling" and "character development" happening during all the dialogue and parts where little to nothing happens but the problem here is the pacing. During the 1st and 3rd discs lot of interesting stuff is happening all the time but the 2nd disc is almost nothing but talking and walking back and forth.

Basically all of Xenogears disc 2, I would always try to grind as much as I could stand in the few dungeons you got to play, because I knew I had str8 hours of monologues to look forward too afterwards.

Also the cave in FF4 where you can't use your metal gear, even if its easy its just sorta gay. Ebla cave too because those fuckin bats never stop attacking for like 20 minutes.
