Although, actually Gradius is still better in the end, but I really like the designs of R-Type. It has such a dark feel to it, which I really dig.

Good luck trying to beat that. It's one of the worst balanced shmups I've ever played; it doesn't reward reflexes, you have to learn every instakill pattern the game throws at you.

Impressive use of linescroll though, I give it that.

Trying to learn Thunder Force V, I have the Saturn Virtua Stick coming so I'm sure that will make be better.
