Well everyone would aways say the timer ball worked on intervals and the quick ball decays like a reverse timer ball, but the bonus on the timer ball is a specific function of how many turns it's been so every turn that goes by its a little better than before and the quick ball is only good on the very first turn then after that it's 1x.

Not quite. It's dependent on how many turns you are already in, but there are "checkpoints" to that. Before turn 10, it's a normal Poké Ball. Between turn 11 and turn 20, it's an Ultra Ball. Between 21 and 30, it has a capture rate of 3 and after turn 30 it's 4.

There are things that aren't written written in a reverse engineered source text. For example, there is an entire column in the Viridian Forest that doesn't have any encounter no matter how often you walk on it.

On the first gen you didn't start off with Pokeballs and most players believe the free 5 Pokeballs started with the 2nd gen. The truth is there is free Pokeballs on the first gen but it had stupid requirements. You had to beat the optional Gary/Blue/DICKS/Rival fight without catching any other Pokemon (or even evolving your starter) then when you get the Dex from Oak he will also toss you five free Pokeballs. The time it take you to train and heal a single Pokemon for it is honestly not worth it though.

Poison type Pokemon can't be poisoned even on the first gen. I heard this from someone so I'm not sure if it is true but I'm pretty sure it is.

You can switch your moves around by hitting select during battle. You can see what moves do on the 2nd gen by going to the Pokemon menu and selecting an option for that Pokemon. Some people may still believe 3rd gen was the first to tell you what moves did.

I learn this stuff long after I quit playing Pokemon so it kinda blew my mind but maybe all of this is common knowledge now.

The only lesser know thing I know about pokemon is that it is actually possible to get different pokemon in the "old man glitch" other than the standard system of it being based off your name. It's just very uncommon and you need to first activate other glitches in the game for it to happen.

Could be wrong about that though, been a long time and I sold my copy of Blue in which I used the elite four to grind literaly a hundred different pokémon to lvl100. Dunno if someone could confirm it.

There were no level 1 pokemon in gen1 and 2 because they would give so little EXP that something would fuck up, giving out a negative value which can't be interpreted and cause you to give you such a high amount of EXP that you would instantly reach lvl100.

I wasted hours (not really) there just to find out what this truck was supposed to be for. Dummy, easter egg or something else? There is no other vehicle anywhere in the first pokemon games, except for the bicycles and motorbikes of the faggot bikers.

Some people maintained you could find Mew underneath the truck by using strength. Faggots were quite inventive in making up creative bullshit how to catch Mew, they gayest shit being finding the rainbow stone on the island with the dungeon (forgot the name) by pressing 'a' at random throughout the cave. I am pretty sure, many lives have been waisted thanks to this one.
