Let's see your custom retro game cases. I just finished printing up a new Sonic and Knuckles insert today.

All my games are in UVG.
i have like 50 cart games for SNES/N64, and I havent done my NES yet, I ordered some custom GB and GBC ones though well see how those turn out for the handful of games I have for gameboy to use with my supergameboy

I've been meaning to order more UGCs. I prefer official Sega cases for Sega games, but UGCs are perfect for Nintendo (though they do need some modding for NES games). I accidentally ordered a bunch of black ones a while ago and I don't use them because the dimensions are different from the regular kind, which annoys me. I will probably order more empty DVD cases soon too for loose game discs (most of my disc games have their original cases though).

My goal isn't to put every game in my library into a case. I am fine with my Atari games being loose, since putting them in UGCs would be a waste of space, especially since even with my favorite Atari games I only play them for a few minutes at a time. They make a great replacement for cardboard, though. I keep my original cardboard boxes for Nintendo games tucked away in a cool dry place while the UGCs keep my carts protected on the shelf.

I finally finished putting all 76 of my Genesis games in cases, a long project but it looks awesome on my shelf now, here are some pics of my cases when I first started printing them out and slipping them in actual old Genesis boxes (used an EA box for Sonic and Knuckles, and old sports games for the rest)

Forgot to mention that Alisia Dragoon, Beyond Oasis, and Mega Bomberman all have alternate cover art.

Where do you guys get your case inserts? I just picked up Tron Bonne, and I don't have the case and would like to print up a DVD-style one.

Also, I recommend printing on photo/glossy paper if you have the option, unless you are using a laser printer at some place like Staples (professional laser prints are usually very sharp and crisp looking). Photo paper will give you much darker looking blacks and more vibrant colors, whereas regular paper tends to make things look more washed out. This is especially noticeable in the red spines on American Sega Genesis covers.
