No Limits 2 is far easier to work with than No Limits 1 was. Once you learn the basics of the interface (really all you'll be using for track design is the Track and Element tabs) and get the hang of building, it doesn't take long to make a quick and dirty track like this. It's when you spend hours fiddling with the shaping of an element to get the forces right that it gets tough.

>Known for its extraordinarily rough ride (exacerbated by improper headrest), Goudurix was ranked as the worst steel roller coaster in the world in the 2012 Mitch Hawker Steel Coaster Poll.[2]

Reminds me of Vortex at King's Island.
And Mantis at Cedar Point.
And lots of other coasters I don't care to name.

What is it about big, late 80's to 90's steel coasters that makes them age like milk?

In the case of Vortex, Goudrix, and other Arrows and Vekomas it's a number of things; the side friction and/or upstop wheels not touching the rail, imperfections in the rails (which is one reason why there's a gap in the side friction and upstop wheels), awkward transitions, etc. Not every Arrow and Vekoma is like this though; there are some coasters, like Tennessee Tornado for Arrow and Millennium Coaster for Vekoma, that are surprisingly smooth due to better construction, better trains, or a combination thereof.

Pic related for the rough ones though; this is a bogie from Loch Ness Monster.

As for Mantits, I haven't ridden it but I think it is down to stand up coasters in general not aging well.

It's otherwise a good start. The Minitruck station looks appropriate for the ride (I'm assuming you're going for an industrial theme, in which case I think you succeeded). I'd say keep at it.

The carousel music is great, probably the best of the whole game. And you can usually find the artists who made them, unless they're traditional pieces that have no author. (Ex. Johann Strauss II)
>>1907770
>The audio quality is kinda shit though.
Agreed. I think the static is in the original WAVEs. If anyone can find the CJ Mears Organization, I suspect that's where all the carousel music comes from. Seems like the company died sometime after RCT1/RCT2 came out (2002). Can't find a website.

The static for the carousel does make it sound more old-timey I guess. And dodgems beat has that perfect dirty, grimy, shady as fuck town fair style.

>RCTW Screenshots
They look like RCT3. I'm still pessimistic about the game. It does look a little less cartooney than RCT3, but I hope to god they drop RCT3's awful scenery. RCT2's scenery was the best in the series.

>that fucking queue line
why the fuck.... you know what, I think Youtube's RCT community is the worst on the internet.
>>1907341
Overbanks too. Not even RCT3 got overbanks completely correct.
>>1908457
To be honest, I want RCT3 with a RCT2-style scenery system. Not everything has to fit into a specific theme.
