OP image is Sim Earth, you control whole planet. You can change temperature, climate and shit. And about working, i had to set up windows XP virtual machine for them.

I know SimEarth is a 16-bit Windows .exe (not sure about SimLife) so you should still be fine if you're still rockin' a 32-bit Windows of any version. Otherwise you'll have to configure a Windows 3.11/Win 9x environment in DOSBox or something. There is also a proper DOS version as of this game well.

The main reason I kept playing SC2000 for so long was so I could fly around my creations. And put out fires. And save ppl from boats.
