>feeling a little sleepy so I clock out and snap a picture of my password with my phone
>turn it on the next day, enter my password getting ready to fuck up ringman
>E-tanks are gone, password doesn't save that shit anymore

Im taking a break from my complete run of the classic series now. not the worst thing ever but pretty frustrating. I had only ever beaten this game in one sitting before so I had no idea.

The game itself sounds insanely frustrating, supposedly there's fireball traps that'll scorch random items in your inventory.

It can even burn key-items. Jesus.

Let's see if anyone can help me..

90s point n click adventure. I remember a dragon circling around the top of a warm-colored castle, guarding it. You'd try to navigate in the castle and the dragon would kill you. It traumatized me so bad that i ran out of the room screaming and never played it again. My dad and brother were stuck and my naive ass said, 'I can do it!'

I've beaten it clean, no cheats, just some grinding on level 3. There are a few key areas to the game that will determine if you can win or not. First is level 3. It's important you have everyone leave with inventories full of scrolls and as much health as possible. Then the scrolling wall rooms of doom on level 4. Then getting to the Technodrome without getting too torn up in level 5. Level 6 is all about using your saved scrolls to plow through enemies until you reach the hallway of doom. You'll know it when you reach it. You have to follow a specific pattern to get through without dying. As soon as mr jetpack asshole appears while in the hallway, crouch and stop moving. He will scroll himself off the screen. Use Don or a scroll to take out the flying bastards that appear with the jetpack guys.

Once you know what to do, beating the game isn't hard as much as it's tedious.

I agree with you there, at least with labyrinth you can collect extra time or purchase more hours.
The fact the goblins steal time every-time they collide with you is just as frustrating

My first nope gaming moment was a glitch with Ecco the dolphin I was like 7 and had used a password to get to a later stage ? The one where you are chased by the alien with the panning camera. I don't know what I did but Ecco got himself stuck on some of the environment sprites, obviously the camera and alien caught up to Ecco and I died but rather then the level just restarting the screen froze went red and a had one of those awful 16 bit screeching sounds. I hit power and noped the fuck out of there and ran to get my Disney games since they wouldn't be scary
