how would that work? I doubt they produced the video on high quality film stock and properly stored it so you could get Blu-ray quality video.
Would they reshoot the whole thing or just produce a lazy upscale of the VHS masters?

Interesting, but that's really about it. I feel like after making Night Trap (a very cool use of the Sega CD may I add) the developers of the game really clouded up the library of the system. They should have stopped after a certain point.

I'm guessing they'll just obtain the original cuts of film and work from there. Not sure what the aspect ratios of the clips are in. 4:3? 16:10?

The 3DO and PC versions used footage they shot before they decided to go the Sega route.

The game was originally going to be on a game system released by Hasbro that never came out.

They probably have the original footage somewhere safe. I once found a website that had the original high quality clips from some other Sega CD games.
