1625105 No.1625105 [Reply] [Original]

Hi, want to play snatcher with a friend tonight but I have some questions
wich version should I use? I heard segaCD is best version, wich emulator should I use?
around how long will it take to beat the game?
it's like a VN? will be ok playing with a friend? the idea is one control the game but decisions are taken by consensus or random.org, have a better idea about how to play it?
we will connect my laptop to a TV and a 360 controller for maximum confort, with drinks and food any idea/suggestion to upgrade this plan?
thanks

I'm not sure if the emulator has been surpassed yet but Kega Fusion does Sega CD games pretty well for the most part. You can load the cue/iso straight into the emulator without using Daemon Tools. In order to play games you need the BIOS pack for whatever region the game is in. EUR, JAP, USA, whatever.

>To do this open Fusion, Go to Options, and then Set Config.

Also, read the sticky niglet. <3

Yep, it checks out. You've struck gold OP!

I have issues downloading from emuparadise but more often that not it's probably just my shitty internet. Shouldn't have any problems.

Game plays more like an old adventure game, you pick a verb from a list then the item you're interacting with.
Dialogue is handled more or less like in an VN, with dialogue trees and choices.
You can't die but sometimes if you make inapropriate decisions some characters might kick you out or lock you in, in which case all you need to do is change screens a bit. I recomend using savestates before every choice you make to make sure you don't get stuck.

I don't know why Kojima didn't want to release an English version like Snatcher, it would have been a hit.
It probably could have become its own franchise too. Oh well.

Kega Fusion is the best-looking and quickest solution. If you want to play the game complete with all the action scenes controlled with the Justifier lightgun that came with the Genesis/Sega CD version of Lethal Enforcers, I would get the real thing. Loose discs are $200, but Sega CD games have no copy protection, as did pretty much every CD-based add-on or console up until PlayStation.

>>1630212
Problem with the PlayStation port is that it lacks the lightgun scenes that the Saturn version has. The fact that Lethal Enforcers had a PlayStation port and they had a PlayStation justifier right in front of them makes this all the more frustrating.
